Yesterday I went to both Ephesis and also the supposed final place of Jesus' mother - Mary. The story goes that John took her there when he lived in Ephesis.
Whatever the truth it was certainly a place of prayer, pilgrimage and reflection.
And interestingly a place for Muslims as well as they see Mary as being very special as well. Praying alongside people of another faith was very moving!
