Yesterday I travelled from Istanbul to Gallipoli. It took about 5 hours including a rather long stop for an accident on the motorway but eventually arrived. Then went on a tour of Gallipoli including Anzac Cove, and Chunuk Bair. I found it more moving than I thought I would especially seeing the terrain and what they were up against. I've attached some photos (I hope!) of Anzac Cove, me in the trenches, and a view of Chunuk Bair and looking down towards Anzac Cove.
I now have a quiet day in Canakkale then off to Troy tomorrow.
