Well maybe not Helen of Troy but Helen at Troy.
A fascinating place and more comprehensive than I was expecting. It was amazing to touch 3,500 year old marble and get a sense of the archeological layering. There are perhaps 9 different Troy's one on top of the other. And the horse, well we all love a good story with mythological overtones!
Then onto Pergamon, a long way by car but interesting country side and it was good talking with a local driver. What can I say the Romans certainly knew how to impress even if not much is left.
Now onto Ephesus.
